Because you are a whole person with your own unique ecosystem, rather than identifying an issue and zooming in on just that one area of your life, it can be really helpful to take a more systemic view.
In the same vein, if you are feeling confused or overwhelmed and are not sure where to start, rather than putting yourself under pressure to have the answer, a great approach is to look across the key areas of your life.
To help you do this I have developed a simple framework you can use to access a better understanding of where your life is (and isn’t) unfolding and flowing in alignment with your values and needs.
I’ve based the framework on the premise that when your life is being lived in alignment with your truest values and needs and desires, everything feels easier. When you’re out of alignment with who you are, life feels the opposite. Everything is a struggle. It feels difficult and sticky and can feel overwhelming.
While none of us can expect (or would probably want) life to be entirely pain free, in my experience it is the extent to which you work WITH yourself as a trusted collaborator (rather than subconsciously against yourself) that dictates how much (or how little) additional and unnecessary pain and struggle you will experience.
